They're loud, they're laconic and they kick up their heels because they are 'two bilingual babes who just happen to be deaf'.

In a cabaret setting with chaise lounge, palm tree and bar, DISLABELLED taps into the credo 'make them laugh first and think second'. These two delicious deaf divas present a host of popular songs with signed singing and elegant choreography. They talk about their lives, their loves (both hearing and deaf), their careers and their pet hates. Jokes come thick and fast, and swearing in sign language is taught.

This is a three-hander (there's a token hearing male!) with sexy, comic and musical credentials performed by two of Australia's finest actors and a barman who thinks he's a musician.

Seen at:

• 2000 Paralympic Arts Festival at Sydney's Seymour Centre
• At the 2002 Adelaide Cabaret Festival in the Festival Centre

To be seen:

• All over Australia in 2004 during a major tour
