Apart from ATOD's core program of school shows, public performance and
special events (see the
work we do)
Australian Theatre of the Deaf also provides a range of supportive services.
• Sourcing Deaf/signing talent for theatre, TV, film and video.
• Auslan Consulting. Providing consultants fluent in Australian Sign
Language and familiar with theatre and TV, who prepare translation, teach
and/or polish signing for performance/presentations.
• Assist in the coordination of sign singing performances for dance
parties, festivals and other special events (past work has included the
Olympic and Paralympic Opening/Closing Ceremonies).
• Develop and present specially tailored performances for conferences
and special events
